 আহোম ৰজাৰ উৎপত্তিৰ চতুৰ্থ আখ্যান -

আহোম ৰজাৰ উৎপত্তিৰ চতুৰ্থ আখ্যানৰ আৰম্ভণিখিনি পূৰ্ব্বৰ আখ্যান কেইটাতকৈ বেলেগ। ইয়াত কৈছে যেমহাপ্ৰলয় হৈ পৃথিৱী ধ্বংস হোৱাৰ পাছত সৃষ্টিকৰ্তা ব্ৰহ্মাই তিনিবাৰ মানুহ স্ৰজন কৰিব বিছাৰিছিল। প্ৰতি বাৰেই বিফল হোৱাত তেওঁ লাওগছ এটোপা ৰুলে। কালক্ৰমত লাওগছত গুটি লাগিল আৰু লাওবোৰৰ ভিতৰৰ পৰা  উফৰি উফৰি মানুহ ওলাই আহিল। সেই মানুহবোৰ সভ্য নাছিল  সিহঁতৰ আচৰণ পশুৰ দৰে আছিল।মানুহবোৰক সভ্যতাৰ শিক্ষা দিবলৈ দেৱৰাজ ইন্দ্ৰই মঙ্গলদেৱতাক পঠালে।মঙ্গল দেৱতাই মানুখিনিক বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্ৰদান কৰিলে। সেই সময়খিনি আছিল সত্যযুগ।মানুহৰ মাজত মিলাপ্ৰিতী আছিল। একেখন থালতে বা মাইহাঙতে সকলোৱে খায়।একেগৰাকী মাকৰ সন্তানৰ দৰে সকলো আছিল। সত্যযুগ সেইদৰেই পাৰ হল।ত্ৰেতাযুগতো শান্তি সম্প্ৰিতীৰে আছিল মানুহ দ্বাপৰযুগ সোমোৱাৰ লগে লগে মানুহৰ মাজত হাই-কাজিয়া হব ধৰিলে। বলীয়ে নিৰ্ব্বলীক অত্যাচাৰ কৰিব ধৰিলে।

মানুহৰ এনে বিলাই দেখি সকলোৱে দেৱৰাজ ইন্দ্ৰক প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিব ধৰিলে।ইন্দ্ৰ দেৱতাও মানুহৰ হিতৰ কথা ভাবি ঢাকখড়্গনীতিদণ্ডছত্ৰচামৰটাঙ্গীপিড়াসোণ-ৰূপৰ ঢাৰি পাটিএইসকলোবোৰৰ সৈইতে দেৱস্থানৰ জীৱ কাইচেঙ্গমুঙক লগত দি ইন্দ্ৰ পুত্ৰ থেনখামক পৃথিৱীৰ সমভূমিলৈ আহিবলৈ কলে থেনখামে নিজে আহিব নিবিচাৰি দুই পুত্ৰ খুনলুং আৰু খুনলাইক পঠিয়াবলৈ ইন্দ্ৰক কাকুতি কৰিলে ইন্দ্ৰই পিছত  খুনলুং আৰু খুনলাইক সোণৰ জখলাৰে সৰগৰ পৰা সমভুমিত মানুহক শাসন কৰিবলৈ নমাই পঠালে।খুনলুং আৰু খুনলাই সৰগৰ মুংৰিমংৰাম নামৰ ঠাইত আহি নামিলহি।সেই ইন্দ্ৰৰ নাতিয়েক খুনলুং আৰু খুনলাইৰে বংশধৰ অসমৰ আহোম ৰজাসকল।

The fourth narrative of the origin of the Ahom kings:     

The beginning of the fourth narrative of the origin of the Ahom kings is different from the previous narratives. It says that after the destruction of the earth by the great flood, the Creator Brahma wanted to create man three times. Every time he failed, he planted a gourd creeper. In time, the trees sprouted and people came out of the fruits. Those people were not civilized. They behaved like animals. Indra, the king of the gods, sent the god Mars or  Mangal to teach the people about civilization. The god Mars taught the people various lessons. That was the Satya Yuga , the first or golden age . There was harmony among the people. Everyone eats on the same plate or maihang. They were all like children of the same mother. That is how the Satya Yuga passed. Even in the Treta-Yuga, the second or silver age of the Hindus,  people lived in peace and harmony. As the Dwapara-Yuga, the third of the four yugas comprising 8,64,000 years, entered, there were quarrels among the people. The strong began to oppress the weak.

 In such circumstances, they all began to pray to Indra, the king of the gods. The god Indra, also thinking of the welfare of mankind, asked Indra's son Thenkham to come to the plains of the earth with the creature of the gods, Kaichengmung, with dhak or drum, swords, policies, staffs, umbrellas, leathers, stone chisel, stool , gold and silver mat. Thenkham did not want to come himself and begged Indra to send his two sons Khunlung and Khunlai. Indra later sent Khunlung and Khunlai down from heaven with golden ladders to rule the people of the plains. Khunlung and Khunlai landed at a place called Murimangram from heaven. The Ahom kings of Assam descended from Khunlung and Khunlai, grandsons of that Indra.
