Ans- Herodotu’s the Histories is considered to be the first history book in the world. The Histories gives a detailed account of the Greco-Persian War. He was the first writer to systematically investigate historical phenomena.

Ans :- History is the story of human behavior. Therefore, the scope of history is vast. History was once limited to a local story, but now it has become the universal history of mankind. Human achievements in every sphere of life such as political, economic, social, cultural, scientific, technological, religious and artistic are discussed at various levels such as local, regional, national, and international levels. History also points from the past to the present and to the future. History is about wars, revolutions, the rise and fall of empires, the fortunes and misfortunes of the great empire builders as well as the people in general. History is a broad subject and includes the history of geography, the history of art, the history of culture, the history of literature, the history of civilization, the history of religion, the history of mathematics, the history of physics, the history of chemistry. In other words, every social, physical and natural activity of mankind is history. History today has become an all-encompassing, comprehensive subject of almost unlimited scope.

Mythology is a detailed account of all events, big and small , social traditions and other subtleties. But History is the record of what one age finds noteworthy in another. History is the record of important events that happened in the past. It is not as detailed as the story.
